Birding Catch Up

Work had kept me so busy everytime I've sat at my desk recently I've not had any spare time to transfer my birding notes from scrawl to PC. So I thought I'd better put up one big post to get back up to date so I have a firm record of what I've been up to.

Fairhaven Lake, Lytham St Annes
Lots of waders around, but typically my wader skills are poor so I didn't really record all I saw... mostly Sanderling and Dunlin but that's unofficial. However, 2 nice ticks in the lake were Goldeneye and Red Breasted Merganser.

Llanfairfechan
Curlew, Redshank, Shelduck, Teal, Coot, Lapwing, Starlings and Oyster Catchers.

Pen-Sarn
Ringed Plover here feeding round the rocks. Nice tick for a busy beach.
